Starting February 1, 2024 we are bringing in the new horse to our new barn at Lavendar Creek Ranch to begin my training with a new trainer, Heatherly Davis at Edelweiss Farms for a trial!
In the first week, we will get his vet check, other trainers will ride him to see what kind of horse he is and I will get more time on him. I’m hopeful he could be my next partner and during my brief initial test ride of him in Temecula, we easily jumped 1.10 m! The first time I’ve jumped that high! He jumps the 1.0m plus height like it’s a speed bump, even though he’s out of shape!
This horse is super tall, standing over 17.1 hands high, and he's extremely underweight. He has sweet eyes, but there is also a sense of uncertainty in him. I’m looking forward to getting to know him better, training with him and working with him during our 1-month trial period. I will change his name to Perseus Pride.
